Job Summary
Locums Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician needed for call-only coverage in Texas. Inpatient obstetric/gynecologic care with responsibilities including low risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), routine deliveries (vaginal and C-section), breech delivery management, VBAC, and operative/major procedures as indicated. Provide care during on-call periods (9-10 call days per month from Friday noon to Monday 7am) with beeper call. Practice settings: inpatient; Level 4 Trauma; EMR: Athena/Medhost. Requires TX license (preferred), NRP, credentialing 30-45 days. Average deliveries per year: 630. Compensation includes hourly pay plus housing, car rental & gas, parking, tolls, and tail malpractice insurance; referral bonus available for referrals who work 160 hours.
