Job Summary
Locum NP position in a Women’s Health/OB-GYN outpatient clinic in Glendale, CA. 4x10 shifts Monday through Thursday with Fridays off; handles 21-24 patients per day. Performs IUD and Nexplanon procedures and manages a mix of general OB/GYN cases in a Federally Qualified Health Center. Competitive compensation with paid malpractice insurance, benefits (health, vision, dental, 401(k)), and 24/7 consultant support. Weatherby Healthcare provides covered transportation and housing expenses for this contract assignment. Hourly rate ranges from $70 to $95 with all-inclusive compensation structure; pay is a combination of base pay and potential earnings from overtime, call, and holiday pay. Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Board certification in family medicine, women's health, or geriatrics may be preferred
- Locum tenens experience in outpatient setting preferred
- Ability to perform IUD and Nexplanon procedures
- Proficient in OB/GYN clinic procedures and patient management
- Familiarity with outpatient obstetrics/gynecology workflows
- DL or state license in California preferred
- Malpractice coverage provided
