Job Summary
Locum gastroenterologist needed in Minneapolis, MN for clinic and procedure days (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm) with no on-call or weekend requirements. Responsibilities include seeing approximately 17 patients per clinic day and performing 16–18 procedures per procedure day, including colonoscopy with polypectomy/biopsy and upper endoscopy with dilation/biopsy. Hospital privileges required. Assignment combines clinic and procedure days with 1–2 flexible weeks per month. CompHealth arranges credentialing support, housing and travel, and provides comprehensive malpractice coverage. Compensation is hourly in the range of $335–$425, all-inclusive, with weekly deposit processing; travel and housing logistics are handled by the agency.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or DO in good standing
- Board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology
- Minnesota medical license or ability to obtain
- Hospital privileges required
- Experience in performing colonoscopy with polypectomy/biopsy and upper endoscopy with biopsy/dilation preferred
- Locum or temporary physician experience preferred
