Job Summary
Conduct inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry coverage for an average daily census of 6 to 10 patients, providing temporary care until a permanent provider is found. Work a 7-on/7-off schedule from 7 am to 5 pm onsite with nightly on-call duties involving low-burden callbacks as second call to the attending physician. Maintain inpatient privileges, PALS, and BLS certification while utilizing the Weatherby portal for assignment details and time entry. Receive paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and competitive hourly compensation ranging from $185 to $230.
