Job Summary
Locum Tenens Psychiatrist needed for all-telehealth adult outpatient psychiatry in Virginia. 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, treating 12-14 patients daily. Assignment features include telehealth delivery via Teams, a 12-month minimum commitment, paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing. Weatherby Healthcare supports the physician with a dedicated consultant, online portal for time entry, and charter membership with NALTO. All telehealth practice with a focus on inpatient/outpatient coordination and ongoing clinical coverage; assignment details provided through Weatherby’s portal.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO (psychiatry)
- board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry
- Locum tenens experience preferred
- ability to provide telehealth services in Virginia
- active medical license in Virginia (or ability to obtain)
- malpractice insurance acceptable to Weatherby Healthcare
