Job Summary
Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist needed in California to provide full-scope anesthesia services for adult and pediatric patients, including neonates, across diverse surgical services. Responsibilities include anesthesia for complex spine and neurosurgery, vascular and robotic surgery, thoracic surgery, advanced endoscopy, interventional neuroradiology, urogynecology, orthopedics, ENT and urology procedures, and foregut/hepatobiliary cases. 40-hour work week with 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts; no call required. Paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and support from Weatherby Healthcare consultant. Assignment details managed through online portal; both base pay and potential earnings (overtime, call, holiday pay) are included in the hourly compensation. Charter member of NALTO. Rates range from $300 to $400 per hour. Location: Hawthorne, CA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO in Anesthesiology
- Board-certified or eligible in Anesthesiology
- Experience with pediatric anesthesia including neonates
- Experience with complex spine, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, robotic surgery, thoracic surgery, advanced endoscopy, interventional neuroradiology
- Full scope pediatric anesthesia including healthy pediatrics
