Job Summary
Locum tenens Anesthesiologist position in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities include providing full-scope pediatric anesthesia and anesthesia for adult patients across complex surgical procedures (spine, neurosurgery, vascular, robotic, thoracic, endoscopy, interventional neuroradiology, urogynecology, orthopedics, ENT, urology, foregut and hepatobiliary). Includes care of neonates and healthy pediatrics; 40-hour weeks (Mon–Fri) with 8/10/12 hour shifts; no required call. Competitive hourly rates ($300–$400) with paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing. Requires operating in a hospital/healthcare network setting; Weatherby Healthcare is the staffing consultant.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree in anesthesiology
- board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology
- experience in complex surgical anesthesia including pediatric and adult patients
