Job Summary
Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for acute care surgery and trauma, managing census exceeding 30 patients daily. Handle ED consults, urgent OR demands, and all trauma calls while filling vacancies for permanent providers. ATLS certification required; laparoscopic, chest, breast, OB/GYN, and liver surgery preferred. Weekly pay deposits, complimentary housing and travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage provided. Credentialing and privileging simplified by a dedicated recruiter. Option to obtain a permanent position available.
Required Qualifications
- 24-hour shifts
- 24/7 in-house coverage
- Census can exceed 30 patients per day
