Job Summary
Locum Tenens PA position in Internal Medicine based in Portland, ME. M-F 7:30 am–4:30 pm with 12-20 patients per day in an adult population (17+). IUD and Nexplanon placement, minor suturing, and splinting procedures are preferred. Built-in admin support and a dedicated recruiter, housing and travel provided, and licensing and malpractice costs covered. Dedicated physician/APP partnership model and comprehensive benefits package. CompHealth will coordinate credentialing and privileging processes.
Required Qualifications
- PA license or eligibility
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine or appropriate specialty
- Locum Tenens credentialing
- Ability to manage 12-20 patients per day
- Adult patient population 17+
- IUD/Nexplanon experience
- Minor suturing and splinting procedures
