Job Summary
Locum Tenens PA in Cardiothoracic Surgery based in Silverdale, WA, covering 6-9 months with a full-time schedule (M-F) and night/weekday call. Requires cardiothoracic surgery expertise in the OR and ICU, including open CV/thoracic procedures, CABG on pump, valvular repair/replacement. Must be able to assist, round, and provide clinic support as needed. WA license preferred or able to obtain during credentialing. EMR: Epic. Hospital setting with 5-10 patients/day, 0-3 admissions, 2-7 ICU patients, 1-2 surgeries per day. Location hints include Alexandria, VA; both WA and VA entries are supported for the assignment's locum-tenens scope.
Required Qualifications
- Cardiothoracic Surgery experience - both in the OR and ICU; capable of assisting and rounding or providing clinic support as needed
- WA license preferred, may obtain license during credentialing
- Epic EMR
- Certified PA
