Job Summary
Provide ongoing general surgery coverage in NC, including inpatient and outpatient shifts with 30-60 minute beeper response times. Perform laparoscopic surgery, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and liver procedures while managing ventilations, chest tubes, and central lines. Adult patients are required, with pediatric and trauma experience preferred. Maintain hospital privileges and submit assignment details and time entry through the online portal. This assignment includes scheduled clinical hours plus call rotation with paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel, and housing.
