Job Summary
Provide endoscopy coverage and manage consults from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, performing approximately 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes daily. Support inpatient and clinic settings with on-site lab and X-Ray services, utilizing Cerner EMR. Coordinate with two physicians and two advanced practitioners onsite at the Petosky hospital facility. This locum tenens role includes specific date ranges through late October 2026 with defined weekend call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- MI license
- DEA
- Gastroenterology specialty
- Inpatient and Clinic setting experience
- Endoscopy coverage capability
- Consult capability
- Cerner EMR experience
- Availability for 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily shifts
- Availability for 24-hour weekend calls
- Ability to perform 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes per day
- Ability to work within the 7am to 4:30pm time window for endoscopy and consults
