Job Summary
Provide in-house and STEMI coverage in a Level 3 trauma center in Fort Smith, AR, with a 30-minute response time for STEMI cases and 20 minutes for all other calls. Manage 15-20 patients per shift, handling admissions only for STEMI patients as other admissions are managed by the hospitalist service. Work five shifts monthly from Monday through Friday. Utilize the EPIC EMR system for documentation. This role is available as soon as credentialed and requires an AR license and DEA registration.
Required Qualifications
- AR license
- DEA
- Cardiology - Interventional specialty
- Inpatient setting experience
- Trauma Level 3 environment experience
- EPIC EMR proficiency
- Availability for 5 shifts a month M-F
- Ability to respond to STEMI calls within 30 minutes
- Ability to respond to other calls within 20 minutes
- Capacity to manage 15-20 patients per shift
