Job Summary
Locum Emergency Medicine physician needed in Indiana for a locum-tenens assignment with Weatherby Healthcare. Typical ED responsibilities include patient care in an emergency department setting, with 16-20 patients per shift and unassigned patient rounding. Shifts vary across early morning to night (6 am–2 pm, 1 pm–10 pm, 11 am–6 pm, 9 pm–6 am). The position includes paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and support through a Weatherby consultant and credentialing/licensing assistance. Assignment details are managed through an online portal; weekly pay is offered. Charter member of NALTO. Start date ASAP.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO license
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Nab clear credentialing and licensing
- Experience in Emergency Department settings preferred
- Ability to manage high patient volumes
- Malpractice insurance provided
- Travel and housing expenses covered
