Job Summary
Emergency Medicine locum tenens physician needed in Wisconsin. The provider will supervise APPs, deliver emergency care in an ED with inpatient/outpatient services, and rotate through 12-hour shifts (days and nights). Case load includes a 12-hr shifts schedule with 22,350 annual ED volume, trauma level III facility, and access to 24-hr support services (anesthesia, surgery, labs, radiology). Cerner EMR is used. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. Requires WI license or IMLC, ABEM board certification, and current BLS/ACLS/ATLS/PALS and AHA certification. The assignment is locum tenens with ongoing coverage, 4-5 consecutive shifts preferred, and supervision of APPs is required.
