Job Summary
Conduct scheduled clinic hours and night call rotations in Napa, California, focusing on inpatient gastroenterology services. Perform screenings onsite for four hours daily, then transition to on-call status via beeper for the remainder of the shift, with nurse practitioners following up on any findings. Maintain state eligibility and a clean file for privileging, which takes 6-8 weeks. Provide procedural sedation and offer ERCP services if preferred, with coverage required for 5-10 days monthly. OT applies after 9 hours. This locum Tenens role extends into later 2025 for the LOCUMS-Gastroenterology team.
Required Qualifications
- State Eligible
- State License (CA)
- Require procedural sedation
- 5-10 days of coverage needed per month
- Shift could be from 7-5 or 8-5
- 4 hours onsite doing screenings
- Rest of the time for that shift they will be on call (beeper)
Desired Qualifications
