Locum | Physician Cardiology

Locum cardiologist with full-time expectation to join ongoing coverage near Port Allen, LA. Responsibilities include inpatient rounds, consultations, multidisciplinary rounds, and clinic duties (one clinic reading day weekly per cardiologist) with a panel of patients, care coordination with imaging/testing teams, and reading hospital diagnostic studies during service weeks. Required skills include outpatient/inpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, Nuclear Cardiology, STEMI management; fellowship required; ACLS; board-certified; LA or IMLC license; Epic EMR; readiness to cross-credential across four locations; credentialing target ~120 days. Compensation features include a competitive hourly rate with housing, car rental & gas, parking, tolls, baggage fees, tail malpractice coverage, and an A++ malpractice policy; referral bonuses available for providers working 160 hours. Must be willing to start ASAP with a long-term commitment and be available for hospital rotations every 5-6 weeks.
