Job Summary
Locum Orthodontist needed for an 8–12-week contract in Baltimore, MD, 4-day workweek with a daily rate of $1,400–$1,800. Focus on diagnosis and comprehensive orthodontic treatment planning for pediatric patients, leading a collaborative orthodontic clinical team, and delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, providing orthodontic care using accepted techniques, supporting children and parents in developing strong oral health habits, making appropriate referrals, maintaining a clean, safe, patient-focused environment, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, Dental Board, and all regulatory standards. Mileage reimbursement offered; travel/lodging not provided. Local Maryland providers only.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland dental license (pending acceptance if close to issuance)
- Board-eligible or certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication
- Organized and clinically knowledgeable in orthodontics
- Ability to commit to 4 days/week for the full 8–12 week duration
