Job Summary
Locum Orthodontist needed in Hattiesburg, MS to join a growing team. Responsibilities include providing orthodontic services to patients with a support team, using DentaPro software, digital x-ray and Panorex units, fiber-optic handpieces, and adhering to yearly OSHA and HIPAA and Emergency Management training. Patient base primarily ages 3-21 with up to 30% adults; office flow consists of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients. State insurance plans, PPO and out-of-network payor mix. Start ASAP (4-5 days/week) with a minimum 1 month commitment. Competitive rate up to $1,800 per day, plus hotel and transportation. Qualifications include DDS/DMD, completion of an accredited Orthodontic residency, active license or eligibility, CPR, and a passion for pediatric and adult orthodontics.
Required Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from an accredited dental education program (CODA)
- Certificate of completion of a residency from an accredited post-graduate Orthodontic Program
- Current, valid dental license in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
- CPR certification
- Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults
