Job Summary
Locum Medical Oncologist covering 1.0 AFP funded maternity leave at Markham Stouffville Hospital, approximately Oct 1 2026 to Sept 6 2027. Responsibilities include treating GI, GU and breast cancers in a well-supported clinic with a multidisciplinary team; participation in biweekly multidisciplinary tumour boards; shared call duties within the Medical Oncology division; support from outpatient palliative care and regional cancer centres; collaboration with a drug navigator, social workers, dieticians and other specialists. Qualifications include Ontario CPSO licensure and RCPSC Medical Oncology certification; schedule may change with operational needs. Submissions with CV encouraged to Trevor Whyte by July 3, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- License to practice Medical Oncology independently in Ontario from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Medical Oncology certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent
