Job Summary
Provide inpatient hematology and oncology coverage on-site in Springfield, Missouri, Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with weekend and weekday call responsibilities. Perform rounding on 8-9 patients on Fridays and Saturdays, while Sunday rounding remains optional. Manage approximately 5 new consults per week, maintaining all clinical documentation through the EPIC EMR system. Temporary hospital privileges are expected to be granted within one week. This assignment supports a large health system's dedicated cancer center serving an adult population with coordinated care from registered nurses, advanced practice providers, and attending physicians.
