Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages. Collaborate with clinic providers to ensure cross coverage and same-day access. Utilize the MedAccess electronic medical record to document all relevant patient details. Complete low-acuity hospital inpatient work through the CHIP program. Earn a guaranteed daily minimum of $1,200, with additional shadow billings, plus accommodations up to $300 per night and travel expenses including air fare up to $1,500. Travel time is capped at 10 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- all applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- all family physicians must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- utilize an electronic medical record (EMR)
