Job Summary
Locum Family Physician needed in Nova Scotia to provide temporary coverage August 24–September 4, 2026. Responsibilities include inpatient and nursing home care, plus hospital and office coverage as requested, within a collaborative Family Practice setting using MedAccess EMR. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 (half-day $600) with additional earnings if shadow billings exceed this amount, and travel expenses (kilometrage, per diems, accommodations up to $300/night, airfare up to $1,500), travel time up to 10 hours/week, and covered CPSNS licensing fees. Locums may claim Facility On Call fees under certain conditions. Applicants must be eligible for CPSNS licensure and CFPC certification, and CMPA membership is encouraged.
