Locum - Family Medicine - Dartmouth

Locum Family Physician needed in Dartmouth, NS to provide coverage for family practice including inpatient and nursing home care, as well as specialist hospital and office coverage on specified dates. The clinic operates in a team-based environment with 4 physicians, NPs, and a family practice nurse. Duties include delivering comprehensive primary care, managing chronic disease, preventive care, and patient education, supported by Med Access EMR. Compensation includes a minimum daily income guarantee of $1,200 (half-day $600) with additional earnings potential. Travel expenses (kilometrage), accommodations (up to $300/night), airfare (up to $1,500), and travel time (up to 10 hours/week) are reimbursed. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered. Locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under certain conditions. Applicants must be eligible for CPSNS licensure and CFPC certification, and CMPA membership is encouraged.
