Job Summary
Locum Tenens Dentist needed in Monroe, LA for a four-day-per-week schedule starting July 2026, to provide care for a mix of pediatric (80%) and adult (20%) patients in high-volume Medicaid practices. The role includes a staffing model with 2 assistants and 1 hygienist per doctor; benefits include paid transportation and lodging, malpractice insurance, direct deposit, streamlined credentialing, and potential for permanent placement. Applicant must have DDS/DMD, an active license (or eligibility) to practice dentistry, CPR and DEA certifications, and a minimum of two years of experience. This is a temporary/contract position with travel and housing accommodations provided.
Required Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in states where providing care or eligible for licensure
- Other certifications as required - CPR, DEA, etc.
- At least two years of dentistry experience
