Job Summary
Conduct ongoing locum tenens anesthesia services in inpatient and outpatient settings across New Mexico, managing general, regional, and obstetrical cases while performing ventilation and hemodynamic management. Place central and arterial lines, administer nerve blocks, and provide weekend coverage with scheduled clinical hours plus call rotation. Maintain independent practice standards with comprehensive malpractice coverage included. Board-certified CRNAs with at least one year of post-training experience and active New Mexico licensure are required. Credentialing timeline is approximately 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified CRNA
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Board Certified
- Minimum one year of post-training experience
- Active New Mexico license or ability to reactivate an existing license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Comfortable practicing independently
- Ability to provide documentation of regional anesthesia experience
- Weekend coverage required
- Call participation required
Desired Qualifications
- experience with Regional blocks
- Ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia
- Pediatric dentistry anesthesia (preferred but not required)
