Job Summary
Provide comprehensive anesthetic care for healthy pediatric and general cases across varied clinical settings in Southeastern Virginia. Manage anesthesia for diverse patient populations with independent supervision, utilizing EPIC for documentation. Maintain board certification or fellowship status while delivering optimal patient care through strong decision-making and communication skills. Submit resume, cover letter, and references to info@achcstaffing.org for a 12-week contract offering flexible 8-hour shifts from 7am to 3:30pm. Includes malpractice coverage, travel expenses, and lodging.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Virginia
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CRNA
- Proficiency in pediatric and general cases
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform anesthesia management for diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Ability to adapt to changing clinical situations and deliver optimal patient care
- BLS certification
- PALS certification
- ACLS certification
- Board certification or fellowship
