Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for outpatient orthopedic cases in North Virginia on 10-hour shifts. Maintain a supervision ratio of 1:4 and utilize Epic for documentation. You must hold a current Virginia license, NBCRNA certification, and BLS/ACLS credentials, with at least one year of orthopedic experience preferred. Credentialing is completed in under 30 days with all travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage handled by the team. This locum contract spans 3-6 months with optional early departure. Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Virginia
- Must already have VA license
- Must be available for 10 hour days
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred
- Proficiency in Orthopedic case types
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team
