Job Summary

Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care across diverse clinical settings including neuro, general, OB/GYN, GI, ENT, plastics, urology, podiatry, and labor epidurals. Manage frequent primary and backup calls during the week and weekends while maintaining independent supervision with onsite MDs Monday through Friday. Maintain current NBCRNA certification and Texas licenses, with OB proficiency and neurosurgery experience as mandatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Re-certification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Texas
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • OB experience and proficiency is a must
  • Neurosurgery cannot be excluded
  • Independent with MDs onsite if needed from Monday-Friday
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • Must be available for primary and backup call needs during the week and weekends
  • Must be able to work 8 and 10 hour shifts
  • Must be able to work Neuro, General, OB/GYN, GI, ENT (healthy peds), Plastics, Urology, Podiatry, Labor Epidurals and SAB for C-Sections
  • Must be able to work Ortho is elective totals and trauma - almost no ambulatory
  • Must be able to work run-of-the-mill general surgery cases
  • Must be able to work high-acuity cases
  • Must be able to work regional and pediatrics
  • Must be able to work vascular and thoracic surgery
