Job Summary
Perform immunological assays including flow cytometry, ELISA, and immunofluorescence to support diagnosis of immune disorders as a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist. Requires HCPC registration and a degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent; experience in Immunology within a clinical laboratory with fluency in immunoassays and flow cytometry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus excellent communication and teamwork abilities; NHS experience preferred. This is a full-time ongoing role based at Charring Cross Hospital with core hours.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Immunology within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with flow cytometry and immunoassays
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (preferred)
