Job Summary
Locum Anesthesiologists needed near Sun Valley, CA to cover OB/GYN cases in clinic and hospital deliveries; 3-4 days per week with on-call 3-4 days/week, daytime hours 9am-4pm (option to start at 8:30am); beeper-based on-call, mainly clinic work with hospital deliveries, complex obstetric cases including high- and low-risk pregnancies, fetal heart rate interpretation, obstetric ultrasounds, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, VBACs, breech, multiple gestations; Epic EMR, credentialing in ~90 days, CA licensure required, competitive hourly pay plus housing, car rental, mileage, parking, tolls, tail malpractice coverage; referrals bonus available. This role demands obstetric anesthesia coverage with readiness for call shifts and a mix of inpatient and outpatient settings.

- BLS
- Licensed in CA only
- Be experienced in Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation, Level I/Screening (viability), Routine delivery, Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc., Surgical gynecology -, Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
- Credentialing: 90 days
