Lead troubleshooting efforts and perform locomotive systems testing and repair across electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic subsystems, including air brakes and diesel engines; read and interpret precision instruments and schematics, operate locomotives and related equipment, and ensure compliance with safety rules while coordinating with quality and production teams.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience or a degree in electrical/mechanical engineering
- 2+ years of relevant experience or advanced technical expertise
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Strong ability to read and understand schematics and flowcharts
- Excellent communication skills for documenting and resolving non-conformance issues
