Job Summary
Join R.J. Corman Railroad Company as a Locomotive Mechanic responsible for performing maintenance on locomotives, railroad cars, and on-track equipment, including service repairs and F.R.A. inspections. The ideal candidate will have experience in locomotive and FRA inspections, mechanical, air, and electrical locomotion repairs, and possess knowledge of power and hydraulic tools. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring a safe work area. This is a full-time position with a commitment to employee safety and benefit offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in locomotive and FRA inspections
- Ability to travel if necessary
- Ability to work unconventional shifts and be on-call
- Knowledge of power and hydraulic tools
