Job Summary
Locksmith position responsible for repair, rebuild, replacement and installation of locks throughout casino facilities, including electronic hotel room lock systems, key management, and master key system setup. Duties include key issuance, maintaining lock records, repairing malfunctioning locks, installing hardware, inspecting locking systems, and ensuring security policies. Requires 3-5 years of locksmith experience, knowledge of low/high voltage systems, access control, master keying, and customer service skills; high school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; and ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment. Starting hourly rate $27.20, negotiable based on experience and education. Hours are on a 24-hour schedule; training programs to be completed within 9 months. Location: Niagara Falls, NY, USA at Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years full-time locksmith experience or equivalent
- license/certification/registration as required by law
- knowledge of electronic hotel room lock systems including magnetic and electric strikes, FOB and DXS access control systems
- master keying and safe work knowledge
- valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- ability to repair/replace locks, keys, and hardware
- strong customer service experience preferred
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- good physical condition and manual dexterity
