Locksmith

Install, adjust, maintain, repair, and replace locks and integrated security systems, access control devices, and other lock hardware (including latches, door checks, and panic bars); design master key systems (sub-master and single keys); review key schedules and blueprints for new construction; open jammed/ vandalized locks and respond to emergency situations to secure doors; train school personnel on repair techniques and use of key filing system; document work orders; operate a district fleet vehicle to travel to job sites; maintain vehicle; knowledge of lock types and brands (e.g., Sargent, Schlage, Corbin Russwin, Von Duprin, Adams Rite, Detex, LCN, Yale, etc.); communicate effectively; work independently and exercise sound judgment; adhere to safety and confidentiality; education and experience requirements include high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of locksmith experience; specialized locksmith training preferred.
