Job Summary
Maintenance, upkeep and repair of all hardware and locks in the Cherry Creek School District. Maintains a master key system in the maintenance office for the District and makes keys to replace lost or broken ones. Keeps an inventory of department materials and logs daily work. Performs lock openings when keys are unavailable, replaces/adjusts door hardware and closers, and re-keys (including master keying) for remodeling projects. Handles ADA installs and assists with snow removal as directed. Provides guidance to principals and school personnel concerning security of school property. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years Locksmithing or general maintenance experience
- Valid Colorado driver’s license
- Must be able to work flexible hours and/or shifts
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire
- All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired
