Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in women's locker rooms, shower facilities, and guest amenity areas by squeegeeing walls, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, and replenishing toiletries. Transport soiled linens to the laundry area, organize back-of-house spaces, and replace full laundry carts with empty ones throughout the shift. Monitor guest areas for safety hazards, report maintenance concerns to the Team Lead, and collect lost and found items per company procedures. Perform routine floor cleaning, mop and disinfect surfaces, and ensure shower curtains and locker rooms remain neat and presentable. Work Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Scandinave Spa Whistler, providing exceptional guest service while upholding the company's Scandinavian tradition of authenticity and team spirit.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift and move laundry carts, supplies, and equipment as required
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, reaching, kneeling, and cleaning
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, spa, hotel, or cleaning services is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards
- Ability to work independently while managing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively
- Communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and respect while working in guest areas
- Reliable, flexible, and adaptable with a positive attitude and willingness to support the team
- Saturday and Sunday - 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
