Job Summary
Lock, relock, and extend mortgage loans with investors while reviewing pricing and product eligibility. Respond to pricing and lock requests from internal teams, monitor expirations and pipeline activity, and maintain accurate data within the LOS and pricing engine. Coordinate with Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Funding to resolve lock-related issues and support investor communications and secondary marketing activities. This Junior Capital Markets Analyst role supports the Capital Markets and Secondary Marketing team in a fast-paced lending operation.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of mortgage industry experience
- Experience in Lock Desk, Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing, Processing, Closing, or Funding
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with an Independent Mortgage Bank (IMB)
- Familiarity with Encompass, Optimal Blue, or similar mortgage systems
- Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan products
