Job Summary
Join Northern Lights Locating and Inspection as a Utility Locator, responsible for locating underground utilities based on 811 tickets, using maps and electronic equipment. You will document your work through reports and photographs, and ensure the cleanliness of equipment and vehicles. Ideal candidates should have experience with locating practices, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail. This role requires fieldwork in various weather conditions and may involve an on-call rotation. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan are offered.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years Locator experience required
- Must have valid Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification
- Able to pass a drug screen
Additional Requirements
- Maintain a Tobacco free vehicle
- Willingness to Travel (75% +)
- Available to work varying schedules and overtime
