Job Summary
Administer driver hiring and compliance processes while providing direction to location trainers. Investigate accidents, incidents, and work-related injuries to determine fault, then prepare compliance forms and maintain files. Perform driver road checks to assess performance and provide training on passenger management and safety issues. Supervise employees handling safety, hiring, or training responsibilities and analyze safety trends through various reports. Requires 2-3 years of transportation or safety experience, a high school diploma, knowledge of DOT regulations, and a working vehicle. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 6:00am to 6:30pm with possible on-call requirements. Salary ranges from $52,000 to $62,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years transportation or safety-related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Possess working vehicle for travel in service area
- English proficiency
- Drug-free workplace compliance (subject to drug and alcohol testing)
