Job Summary
Floating Location Manager to travel to Zūm locations and serve as interim location leader. Develop and implement location-specific operational plans, oversee fleet management and multi-site operations, and maintain high safety and performance standards. Build and sustain relationships with customers, stakeholders, HR and recruiting teams, and internal groups; monitor KPIs using IT infrastructure; drive operational excellence, enforce compliance with state, federal, and contractual requirements; manage P&L across sites; and coordinate with payroll, finance, and safety. Responsibilities include hiring planning with HR, field operations management, incident reporting, facilities upkeep, and supporting special projects such as field trips and charter processes.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of operational leadership experience, preferably in transportation or logistics
- Proven track record in safety performance and team development
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations in both unionized and non-unionized environments
- Strong project management skills in fast-paced, adaptive roles
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship and customer service abilities
- Self-starter with ability to make independent decisions and multitask
- Familiarity with P&L management and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs)
