Job Summary
Lead and oversee daily operations at a Colorado Springs funeral home, managing a team of funeral professionals and supporting families through funeral arrangements. Responsibilities include supervising the funeral director team, coordinating funeral, memorial, and cremation services, ensuring compassionate and timely family care, assisting with embalming as needed, managing workflow and staffing coverage, coordinating on-call schedules, ensuring compliance with company standards and state regulations, collaborating with ownership to improve operations and team performance, and fostering a positive, service-focused culture. Ideal candidate brings licensed funeral directing/embalming experience, leadership capability, strong communication and organizational skills, and comfort working in a cremation-heavy environment.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer preferred
- Prior funeral home leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Strong funeral directing experience required
- Embalming experience preferred
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
