Job Summary
Location Intelligence Analyst to participate in GIS and data management for mining and oil & gas projects. Responsibilities include preparing and coordinating analytics and data reports, conducting spatial and non-spatial data analysis, developing solutions with FME, Python, VBA, and JavaScript, maintaining GIS/geodetic/cartographic data and base maps, guiding data management systems, providing technical leadership for automation and related projects, collaborating with internal/external clients to deliver deliverables and automations, training clients on new systems, participating in policy and standards enforcement for data management, and pursuing ongoing professional development. Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in GIS, 2+ years of technical delivery or leadership experience, Esri product experience, and strong communication skills to work with diverse teams of data scientists, data engineers, and software developers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in Geographic Information Systems
- 2+ years of successful technical delivery or technical leadership in a consultative or solution-oriented team-based environment
- Experience with Esri suite of products including Online, Portal, Web, and Mobile Applications
- The ability to work closely with a varied team of data scientists, data engineers and software developers
- Knowledgeable in the business application of geospatial sciences and geomatics engineering across various civil & environmental engineering disciplines
- Experience in using modern software approaches to automate GIS outputs and reduce manual effort where possible
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Systems or equivalent
