Job Summary
Locate Technician responsible for identifying and marking underground utility lines using company-provided tools, reading utility maps/diagrams, and documenting work with laptops/tablets. Role involves communicating with contractors, homeowners, and utility personnel; ensuring safety standards and procedures; working outdoors in varying weather; maintaining equipment/vehicle; and undergoing full paid training. Experience not strictly required but preferred in construction/utilities; basic GPS/mapping knowledge is a plus; travel locally and occasional overtime/weekends may be needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to travel locally and work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
