Job Summary
Locate Technicians identify and mark underground utility lines (fiber, gas, electric, telecommunications) using company tools, read utility maps/diagrams to locate buried services, document work with laptops/tablets, communicate with contractors/homeowners/utility personnel, and work outdoors in varying weather; full paid training provided to prepare for fieldwork in safe, compliant operation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
- Comfortable working outdoors and on foot for extended periods.
- Ability to follow procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
