Locate Technician to identify and mark underground utility lines using company-provided tools and equipment. Read and interpret utility maps/diagrams to locate buried services; document work and complete reports on devices like laptops or tablets; communicate with contractors, homeowners, and utility personnel; adhere to safety standards; work independently in outdoor environments; maintain equipment and vehicle; full paid training provided to prepare for the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable working outdoors and on foot for extended periods
- Ability to follow procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Willingness to travel locally and work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
