Job Summary

Track localization issues, maintain SOPs, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of multilingual content for the Course Package Translation Service. Engage stakeholders to identify gaps, develop quality programs, and create external documentation like FAQs and blog posts. Analyze localizability workflows to provide optimal solutions and manage vendor relationships to deliver projects on time. Use AI-powered tools responsibly for translation QA and workflow efficiency while adhering to governance standards. Monitor publishing queues to review and edit content created by colleagues, producing actionable insights from localization trends. Own successful completion of translation projects and gather requirements with subject matter experts.

Required Qualifications

  • A 4-year college degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with human/machine translation and post-editing project management
  • Fluency in at least one language other than English (Canadian French, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, or Arabic)
  • Experience with GitHub as a platform for version control
  • Experience with Translation Management Software
  • Familiarity with content and learning management systems (CMS and LMS)
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Manage vendor-relationships to deliver projects on time within budget
  • Use AI-assisted authoring, summarization, and translation optimization tools to improve translation quality and operational efficiency while validating outputs for accuracy and consistency
