Job Summary
Manage end-to-end localization into 29 languages, overseeing vendor coordination, content workflows, quality processes, and launch execution. Monitor continuous localization operations, identify improvement opportunities, and run evolving quality processes including testing, LQA workflows, and linguistic asset maintenance. Influence upstream content operations for seamless translations and build metrics reports on turnaround, quality scores, and cost per word. Work from San Francisco, Irvine, or Seattle with a base salary ranging from $74,200 to $142,800 annually. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of localization project/program management experience
- Experience managing stakeholders and cross-organizational dependencies
- Experience with enterprise localization tools, translation management platforms (Smartling, memoQ, Phrase or similar), and developing and maintaining linguistic assets and workflows
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Native speaker of one additional language
- You can work from San Francisco, CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA
Desired Qualifications
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to visualize data, connect the dots, and turn localization insights into decisions that drive business and tooling outcomes
- Native French, German, Chinese or Japanese preferred
- Experience designing and implementing scalable localization processes and technical automation
- Track record of building localization programs from scratch or through transformation
- Experience evaluating MT/LLM quality in production workflows
- Solid understanding of localization metrics and data manipulation
