Job Summary
Operate tractor/trailer and forklift to transport goods locally, perform drop-and-hook stops, and load/unload product at the production facility, distribution center, and warehouses. Check vehicle safety before operation, spot delivery trailers, chock wheels, and complete required paperwork while maintaining neat and clean equipment. Follow safety rules and company policies, participate in training and meetings, and receive instructions from the supervisor. Day shift and night shift options available.
Required Qualifications
- High school plus additional training
- Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Current Commercial Driver's License
- DOT approved
- Certified forklift operator
- Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles
- Eye/hand/foot coordination to operate forklift
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles
- Ability to reach in any direction
- Ability to lift objects
- Ability to grasp objects with fingers and palm
- Ability to talk and exchange ideas
- Ability to hear sounds at normal speaking levels
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert negligible amount of force constantly
- Ability to work outside subject to wide seasonal temperature variations
- Ability to work with intermittent wetness from rain
- Ability to handle contact with dust, ink, oil, and grease
- Ability to operate Company vehicles on public highways
