Local Truck Driver CDL B

Position Summary: A Driver – CDL B is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous waste removal services for customers. Responsibilities include performing complete vehicle inspections (pre- and post-operation), ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, reading and following route sheets, loading refuse and operating the packer/compactor, interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers, identifying unsatisfactory waste containers, monitoring waste quality, maintaining vehicle readiness, completing required route productivity sheets and VCRs, and adhering to productivity and safety policies. The role also involves participating in the company’s ReSOP program and maintaining a high level of customer service and time-management discipline. Minimum requirements include a Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement. Benefits are available as listed by the employer. EEO commitment is stated.
